Road 2 Riches" delivers a powerful throwback to that raw, unfiltered NY hip-hop mixtape vibe a style that’s become rare in today’s soundscape. DJ Alamo and Lucky Ozzy embody that era on Road 2 Riches. Three tracks in particular that stood out to me "Must Be the Money," "Do for Luv," and "Doin It Well" You can see the Jersey and Compton influence coming from both artists not just on these tracks but through the whole mixtape. Kicking off right after the mixtape's opener, Hoodluva Rich's production slams through on this track. Giving you this feeling of scrolling through outfit options, shots clinking in glasses, the city's electric pulse beyond your window. Drums hitting and when Ozzy lays down raw bars like "Been about that bag I was born with the thirst, been about the struggle I was born with the hurt." It transforms what could feel like a hype anthem into something deeper. For those night drives you have Do for Luv The beat unfolds like a creating space for a track that is unexpected and sultry. “I fight for your love… / When I picture life, all I see is us,” For every self-proclaimed lovergirl like myself, it’s the soul laid out. It’s therapy with a tempo. Produced by Moxclusive featuring Hoodluva Rich, "Doin It Well" delivers street-smart reflections over head-nodding beats. Its verses resonate with that feeling of ambition, chasing dreams and living it up with style, all while staying grounded in real-life hustle. By Karina Soriano
