What is one motto that has gotten you this far in your life and career? "Life is a piano, what you get out of it depends on how you play it" 4. Beamer, Benz or Bentley? Beamer! BMW - i8 if you have seen it, you know I do not need to say any more. 5. How did you come up with the name "CharlesInCharge"? I was in a session at Paramount in LA with Focus..., a friend, and a producer, who I consider to be one of the dopest and most respected in the game. We were about to post something to IG or something like that (not sure) and he asked me what my hashtag was? I'm like, I don't know, and named a hashtag that was widely used (or something like that). He was like "No", you need to build and maintain a brand based on you. He then said, you know what, everything you do is built off your independence, and your ability to put things together. Its "Charles In Charge." That's it! (LOL) We all laughed, (Me, PRO (Create Digital), Focus and a few others), and the rest was history. It just worked. My bro Focus... gets the credit though. Kaydence: I would Have to Choose Fo Shizzle. Fleek is too commonly used right now. Its a safe word...So I would try bringing back Fo Shizzle , Fa sho! 2. What is your favorite studio snack? Kaydence: I usually have Flamin' Hot Cheetos Alongside a Red Bull or an Iced Coffee. All of which are horrible combinations lol. 3. Who is your biggest musical influence? Kaydence: James Fauntleroy first and foremost. His Melodies are unmatched, definitely my idol when it comes to songwriting. And John Mayer of course- because i love his song concepts. 4. Worse DM slide in from a fan? Kaydence: An ex who broke my heart years ago who reached out to let me know she is and will always be a fan. I don't know whether to be flattered or still upset. lol 5. Inglewood has the best...? Kaydence: Music collective on the west coast!! 1500 or Nothin. They are legends out here...and family. Their work ethic, and tireless attitudes will make them some of the most impactful musicians of our generation...and I dare anyone argue that! (Also Breakfast soul food...and no...
